This class for youth is ALL about the wheel!
Students will learn all the steps to make a pot at the wheel, along with a few different forms such as a bowl and cup. Time will also be spent teaching care of tools and responsibility in the studio. This class is a great opportunity for students to be creative in a new and unique way.
We will take 2 class sessions and make work at the wheel, then spend our last class decorating and glazes the pieces. Spots for this wheel-focused class will go fast, so reserve a place today. Wheel skills are very subjective and skills are learned at an individual pace. As such this class is appropriate for a wide age range and skill level--- enrollment is open to 1st thru 8th grade.
