Come enjoy a fun little class to make your very own Textured Press Plate!
Caregivers will help their pre-schooler cut out a shape for their plate using studeio templates. We will then choose from a variety of textured mats, rollers, and stamps to decorate the clay. After that, we will use the template to press the clay into a large piece of foam to make our beautiful dish! Students will choose one underglaze color to decorate their plate with before they are finished for the day.
Hedgerow Staff will then take the finished pieces, fire them in our kilns, add a clear glaze for durability, and then have them ready for pick-up the following week.
Dress for creativity and come ready to have fun in this 45 min session.
Saturday August 3, 11 am,
$20 per student, with a caregiver.
Class is appropriate for ages 1 - 5, and is also open to special needs students of all ages.
