NOTE:  This class is a shortened, three-week version of this class due to the Memorial Day holiday, with one wheel class, one handbuilding class, and a glazing class.

This class is a sampler for both sides of the the pottery world.  You can choose to focus on wheelthrowing, handbuilding, or try out both!

The handbuilding portion of session introduces students to pottery techniques and forms that do not involve a wheel.  Everything from mugs and trays to mini houses, coil pots, and more.

The wheelthrowing portion of the session is created with the beginner and intermediate student in mind.  Class sizes are small, allowing instruction to be individualized to each student's skill-level and studio interests.  Beginner students will learn all the steps for making a pot on the wheel.  Continuing students will work on skill at their level.

Class fee includes instruction, use of studio tools and equipment, glazes, and firings.  Clay is included with your first session, and available for purchase as needed.
